[Amir Paiss of Sheva writes:] Ba BaAhavah was initially written as a letter to a desperate friend, as a
way to share with him some of Life's useful keys, collected during years of travel and study. The song
is a kind of a key holder... reminding us of our immediate connection with our source, with Love, with Truth.
Reminding us to remember that we are all members of God's creation, that God's language is Love, that our
seemingly separate existence is an illusion and that we are in fact so interconnected, and therefore responsible
for what is happening in the world we share. Borders and boundaries have been well manipulated by those forces
that want to use fear as a controled measure. We refuse to be paralyzed by fear, we know that reality is genuinely
ruled by love, and Love is what we choose to live by and manifest through all of our relations during our lifetime.

It is not in the hands of anyone else but ours, we change the world
through the healing powers of Love. It is as simple as breath.

In this beautiful, prayer-like meditation on how to carry oneself in life, the seven-member multi-ethnic and
multi-religious Israeli band Sheva (Seven) expresses its vision for personal peace and harmony. Whereas
Sheva often takes lyrics from ancient texts and sets them to music, here the band has written original words
that are rich in psychological and spiritual motifs. Sheva, whose members live near each other in the northern
Galil region, is famous for the special instruments from India that they play as well as the ones they make
themselves. This song celebrates life and love in all their complexity and wonder.
